For all my local readers out there, Hy-Vee is running a pretty sweet contest that started yesterday!
From September 20th to November 9th, any Iowa resident over the age of 18 is welcome to submit entries to the Tailgate Recipe of the Week contest. Every week, there will be a new theme for recipes. The first week's theme is wings, and then dips. Go here for a listing of all the themes. You can submit a a copy of your recipe here.
Hy-Vee employees will choose winners to receive some fab prizes like $5,000 in groceries to a grand prize winner and seven weekly winners will win $750 in groceries...not to mention all winners will receive tickets to Big 12 Basketball tournament.
