One tradition that I love passing down to my children is handwritten notes and cards. My grandmother always sent birthday, Christmas, Valentine's Day, etc. cards, even just little notes to say I love you in the mail. Now, my children and I always send out cards for our loved ones on those special occasions and even though they can't all sign them, we do hand prints instead for that special touch.
