Macaroni Grill through MyBlogSpark recently provided me with the opportunity to review the new line of Macaroni Grill Frozen Entrees! I am super excited, because who doesn't love yummy and quick family dinners? I was given the Grilled Chicken Florentine, with grilled white meat chicken and spinach, along with farfalle pasta tossed in a creamy parmesan cheese and garlic sauce. Sounds yummy, right?

It was super fast and super easy to make, and the only extra ingredient needed was 1/3 cup of milk. It cooked in only 12 minutes on the stove-top in one pan, so there wasn't a lot of mess to clean up. You are supposed to use a non-stick skillet, but seeing as I don't own one (though it has been on my Christmas list for 3 years running), I used a regular skillet. It still came out great.

I loved that the chicken was pink, and looked good as opposed to some other frozen meals when the chicken looks gray after cooking. It is made to serve two, but the portion size was big and it made enough for two large servings plus a small helping for both of my kiddos. 

It made enough to serve two adults and two children, in my opinion.

The best part is that it was delicious! My husband and I both liked it, and so did my daughter who actually ate spinach for the first time in her life. I wouldn't say it is exactly like dining at Macaroni Grill, but it really is yummy and the fancy serving platter and tongs provided sure made me feel like we were having a special dining experience.

Coming to stores later this summer will also be Roasted Garlic Shrimp Scampi and Spicy Italian Sausage Pomodoro varieties which I think both sound just as delicious!
