I don't know about you, but I have a picky eater in the family. It makes it really hard to make nutritious food that my son will eat. I swear it seems like one day something is his favorite, and then the next day he won't touch it. Some days I'm not even sure he eats at all. So I'm always looking for new things to offer him that are healthy, and still in the realm of things he will eat.

Well, my kids loved the Sammys, all three flavors. They look kind of like Fig Newtons, so my son immediately thought I was handing him a cookie, a huge plus! I like that they are easy to throw in the diaper bag and there is really no clean up. I was able to sneak in a bite of Abe's Strawberry Jam & Peanut Butter Jammy Sammy when he wasn't looking and I thought they were quite delicious.

When I first introduced the fruit Mashups, my kids were a little skeptical. My son, the picky eater, bases his entire decision on whether or not he likes something on how it looks. So, since he couldn't see what the food looked like, he wouldn't even touch it at first. I squirted it into a bowl and convinced him it was applesauce....even though it was the Tropical Fruit Mashup, and once he tried it he loved it. Here you can see him sucking the Mixed Berry Mashup bone dry. I really like that the only ingredients in these Mashups are fruit, that's it! I have never been able to get my son to eat strawberries, blackberries, or mangoes. But, he ate them without a fight in these Mashups.
